I have an unusual amount of knowledge about mattresses because of my father, who ran a company that retailed them.
South Africans (of which I am one), spend an average of 7 hours and 20 minutes in bed — almost a third of ones’ life. With all of that time spent in bed, do you know how few people clean their beds? No? That’s what I thought. Through my research, I’ve found that most people have never really given much thought to cleaning their mattress.
Water? Consider it your bed’s chief nemesis. Able to damage the integrity of those smart breathable layers and foams that make up your mattress.
So, why isn’t there a suitable cleaning product? Despite the packaging (which left much to be desired), it smelled amazing!
I was inspired research the ingredients, possible uses of the product and found it to be eco-friendly, safe for pets, and subsequently used on a plethora of household items. The downside? The packaging didn’t do the product justice.
So, dad graciously handed over Sprinkles and SANIC was born.
SANIC wants to leave no damage behind. None at all.
