SANIC is safe for all upholstery and fabrics including mattresses, couches, carpets, cushions, car seats, pet beds, shoes, and dry-clean-only clothing. You can use SANIC on coloured fabrics, dark fabrics and white fabrics safely. SANIC is not effective on leather fabrics, although it will cause no harm.

Leave SANIC on for at least 20 minutes. For deeper cleaning or stubborn odours, you can leave it for 2 hours before vacuuming. You can also leave SANIC on overnight if that is more convenient for you.
SANIC helps neutralise odours that might attract pets back to the same spot, while absorbing moisture and fighting bacteria.
SANIC can be used immediately when the accident happens to absorb the urine and prevent it from soaking into the carpet. Depending on your type of carpet, we recommend going over the spot with some soap and water and a gentle scrubbing brush; however, not ALL carpets will tolerate this part well. You can use SANIC a second time to dry that spot you have just scrubbed and make sure no odours are left behind.
If it is an old stain that has a lingering odour that you are trying to get rid of, apply SANIC to the whole carpet or area where you think the accident has occurred, leave it overnight and vacuum the next morning. A thicker layer than regular application is best practice for neutralising the odour.
We recommend either Field Fresh or Floral Fresh for this issue because they are more fragrant than the other two products. These two fragrances are more likely to deter your pet from sniffing and identifying this carpet spot as their territory in the future.

Absolutely! SANIC Pet Fresh is specially formulated for pet beds, while our other variants are also safe for pet items.

Yes, SANIC is safe for Persian and other delicate carpets. Always test on a small area first and ensure thorough vacuuming.

SANIC absorbs moisture, eliminates odours, and fights bacteria that cause musty smells. It’s perfect for refreshing spaces that have been closed up.
SANIC uses only natural essential oils for fragrance – no synthetic perfumes. Choose from Field Fresh, Floral Fresh, Baby Fresh, or Pet Fresh.
SANIC is not designed to remove stains. It’s a dry cleaning powder that focuses on odour elimination, bacteria fighting, and freshening. However, it is a great hack for absorbing a spill as it happens, and is even great at absorbing oil stains.
SANIC can refresh dry-clean-only items very well and extend the time between professional cleanings. It’s not a complete replacement for all professional dry cleaning, it depends on the item and how it is worn, i.e touching the skin or only an outer lay that doesn’t touch the skin.
Yes, all SANIC variants are pet-safe and can be used. However, SANIC Pet Fresh is specifically formulated with additional tick and flea control, and it has the most neutral fragrance specially formulated to not upset your pet’s sensitive nose.
Any SANIC variant is safe for pet beds. Pet Fresh offers extra protection against fleas and ticks, but other variants work great for general cleaning and odours.
SANIC helps reduce allergens by fighting dust mites and absorbing particles that trigger allergies. It’s also hypoallergenic and free from harsh chemicals.
SANIC targets and then removes dust mites when vacuumed up – Remember the dust mite causes the dust allergies, not necessarily dust.

Yes, SANIC is hypoallergenic and made with gentle, natural ingredients. However, if you have extremely sensitive skin, we recommend testing on a small area of your home first.

Yes, absolutely. A wet dry vacuum that is able to suck up liquids and uses water to trap dust and debris can be used with SANIC.
The freshening effects typically last several weeks, depending on how much traffic and pet dander is in your home. Regular use (every week) maintains optimal results. Remember, SANIC is a gently fragranced product with no synthetic fragrances; this means the scent will dissipate with time but the hygiene will remain. This is what makes it safer than other products.
SANIC was created by Kate Dales to provide South African families with a natural, effective solution for keeping homes fresh and clean without harsh chemicals.
